Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Deliver nursing care across night shift hours, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float between Medical Surgical floors as operationally required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows
