Make more than a Living, Make a Difference Our Part-time Benefits Retirement savings plan with employer match up to 5% AD&D Insurance Hourly Rate: $26.00 On-Call position up to 29 hours per week Duties and Responsibilities The Substitute Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area. Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation. The Substitute Instructor maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning. Maintains student personnel folders. Records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area. Qualifications Associate's Degree or 60 semester hours and the completion of an approved substitute authorization course. Completed application to the Iowa's Board of Educational Examiners. Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record preferred. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
