Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel assignment in Dallas, TX. This role will involve providing critical care to a surgical population, especially oncology patients, in a fast-paced SICU environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed surgical ICU unit
• Manage patient assignments according to acuity and skill level
• Operate ICU equipment such as ventilators, NXStage, and Arctic Sun
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, and cardioversions

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• 2 years ICU experience
• Active RN TX license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred
