What You'll Do Lead, develop, and align the buyers, ensuring team adherence to production requirements and purchasing priorities. Act as the escalation point and decision-making authority for unresolved discrepancies in invoicing, quality rejections, or supply shortages. Administer and continuously optimize the department-wide MRP in BPCS: safety stock levels, lead times, and minimum order quantities. Analyze and mitigate supply risks across all categories: single-source dependencies, extended lead times, and demand variability. Monitor and report purchasing KPI’s to leadership: supplier OTIF, PPV, premium freight, and expediting frequency. Manage supply risks.Lead supplier recovery plans for critical shortages or delivery risks, coordinating across Purchasing, Planning and Quality. Participate in annual physical inventory and cycle count processes. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience. APICS certification is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated hands‑on experience as a buyer and managing purchase orders. Minimum 2 years in a coordinating or team leadership role with direct reports. Experience with MRP systems (BPCS or equivalent ERP) and purchasing parameter management. Familiarity with quality systems and supplier corrective action processes (SCAR). Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills, and ability to prioritize and balance workloads. Dekko is an equal opportunity employer.
