Population:
Ocean Springs: ~20K, drawing from all Jackson County, pop: 150K
Biloxi: ~50K, drawing from all Harrison County, pop: 216K
Hancock County: 50K
Physician/ Population Ratio:
Total: 9 Ophthalmologists (owner is counted in 2 counties) =1 MD/46K popJackson County: 2 Ophthalmologists=1 MD/75K pop
Harrison County: 8 Ophthalmologists=1 MD/27K pop
Hancock County: 0 Opthalmologists=0 MD/50KMD Or Corporate Owned:MD owned
Reason for Job Opening:1MD leaving state to return home
If Physician is retiring, how much longer will Physician Work:5 years
Experience Requirement:completed residency, Board certified/eligible
Partnership Opportunity:Yes, after 2 years
Target Compensation:$225K
Bonus Opportunity: 30% of collections over target income

Current patient volume: 500+/month/MD, 250/month OD (part-time)
Estimated Surg Volume for this role: Per MD:700 cataracts, 125 YAGs, 100 SLTs + MIGS
Support Staff: 8 techs for 2 MDs, 1 OD
Hospital Call:minimal
MDs on Staff:currently 2, will go down to 1 Feb 28, 2026
ODs on Staff:1 at 75% time
Partners:1 MD
OD Network:15 regular, 30 occasional
OD – patient per day expectation: 20-30
Refractive Surgery - Lasik:200
Laser - O.R.:Catalys, YAG, SLT, Argon, Visx, Femto
Vit System:J&J

Hospital Affiliation:Ocean Springs Hospital, Memorial Hospital
ASC: Mississippi Eye Surgery Center, located next to office—2 ORs
