Finally, fostering their engagement to animal health also means listening to them and helping them to acquire new skills, preparing them for the challenges of tomorrow and encouraging them to contribute to an ever more responsible approach to our business.Virbac is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team.In this specific role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accounting transactions and processes to support daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Framework and internal policies.You will play a critical role in Virbac's financial close process and will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy of overall financial statements.We are looking for an accountant who is used to process documentation and is an advanced ERP user with very strong reporting skills especially using Excel.Essential Job Functions:Provide management with timely and accurate financial information.Research and analyze assigned cost centers and accounts to facilitate accurate reporting.Prepare journal entries with supporting documents.Contribute to monthly, semiannual and year end reporting packages.Contribute to mid-year and year-end financial statements analytics.Support and lead accounting projectsProcess documentation and Process improvementsSupport and strengthen internal controlsPrepare reconciliations of various Balance Sheet accounts.Lead efforts to improve ERP data integritySupport the M3 to OneStream reporting automation (double run in preparation for IFRS 18)Lead process improvements and SOP documentationLead efforts to address Internal Audit observationsSupport with Gross to Net Revenue accountingLiaise with IO Plant Controller to ensure the accuracy of Inventory reserves and COGs reportingSupports in the Finance and Accounting Budgeting processPrepare the semi-annual US GAAP financial statementsSupports with ad hoc analysis and reportingBackup of the team in payroll accounting, bonus true-ups, royalty accounting, accounting for Concur T&E expenses and other areas as assigned.Skills:To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Extremely well organized and detailed-oriented, with strong commitment to accuracy.Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively within a timely manner.Ability to work both independently and as a team player.Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.Education / Experience:Bachelor’s degree or higher in AccountingCPA preferred5+ years of Accounting experienceModel: Must be able to work at our Head Office in Westlake, Texas (Hybrid)Virbac provides numerous career opportunities, thanks to the diversity of its jobs and their international dimension.Joining Virbac means joining dynamic teams ambitious for success.Add Your Talent to Ours! #J-18808-Ljbffr Virbac
