Master / A-Level Automotive Technician | Up to $55/Flag Hour | No Weekends

55 Tires & Service is hiring a Master / A-Level Automotive Technician in South St. Louis County.

We understand the technician we are looking for probably already has a job.

We are hiring because we are a busy 9-bay tire and full-service automotive repair shop with strong tire, alignment, maintenance, diagnostic, and repair volume. We need another high-level technician to help us keep up.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Up to $40-$55 per flagged hour for the right Master / A-Level technician
• Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate, paid in stages
• Toolbox tow covered for the right technician

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

I grew up in this business. 55 Tires & Service has been family-owned since 1997, and I know how important good technicians are to the success of the shop.

My job is to keep the bays full, provide the right equipment, support the team, and create a place where good people can make good money without giving up every night and weekend.

We are not perfect, and I am not going to pretend we are. But we are serious about improving, growing, and building the kind of shop good technicians want to be part of.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a true A-Level or Master-level technician who can diagnose, produce, document, and fix vehicles right the first time.

Strong experience preferred in:

• Diagnostics
• Drivability
• Electrical
• HVAC
• Brakes
• Suspension
• Steering
• Alignments
• Engine repairs
• Maintenance
• Domestic, Asian, and some European vehicles

Requirements and preferences:

• Strong diagnostic and repair ability
• Missouri State Inspector License preferred
• ASE certifications valued, but not required
• Valid driver’s license
• Own professional tools
• Able to document findings clearly
• Able to communicate with advisors and teammates
• Quality-focused
• Reliable and professional

Labor-guide repair jobs may include additional flagged-hour opportunity through Tekmetric. Menu-priced and canned jobs are handled separately, and we explain the pay plan clearly up front.
