If you are a motivated, passionate, quick learner looking for unique career experiences, this role is waiting for you!/ppJob Summary/ppThe Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting will play a key role in recording general ledger activity for our corporate entities and partnering closely with teams across the organization to deliver accurate, timely internal reporting. The associate will serve as a trusted business partner by providing clear, reliable financial insights and communicating results to key stakeholders. This role will also conduct and present detailed accounting analyses that support precise and timely actuals reporting for internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess full cycle accounting experience, strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP./ppEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities/pulliDrive month-end and ongoing accounting activity by preparing and reviewing journal entries, including allocations, reclasses, and accruals, as well as completing accurate balance sheet reconciliations./liliPartner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather the information needed for timely and accurate expense accruals./liliManage weekly corporate credit card activity, ensuring all transactions are recorded and summarized for monthly reporting to accounting leadership./liliLead monthly analyses for assigned income statement accounts, providing clear variance explanations and proactively addressing issues as they arise./liliMonitor corporate entity income statement activity throughout the month to ensure expenses are routed to the correct departments and cost centers./liliPerform complex monthly analyses, such as medical benefits, workers compensation, and technology project spend, to support precise general ledger activity./liliReview corporate lease agreements and record all related office and vehicle lease expenses while maintaining detailed lease schedules and reconciliations./liliOversee bank reconciliation reviews for multiple accounts, ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing cash transactions./liliPrepare and process wire payments as needed, collaborating with Accounts Payable to ensure proper general ledger treatment./liliSupport internal and external audits, including SOX compliance efforts, by providing timely and accurate documentation./liliContribute to cross-functional projects and champion process improvements to enhance team efficiency./liliUphold company policies, procedures, and controls, promptly identifying inconsistencies or issues for management review./liliPerform additional responsibilities and initiatives as assigned./li/ulpEducation and/or Experience/pulliDeep understanding of U.S. GAAP, with the ability to apply principles confidently in a fast-paced environment./liliBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline./lili3+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or finance role; intercompany accounting exposure is a strong plus./liliBackground in the real estate industryor experience within a large public companyis highly preferred./li/ulpSkills/Specialized Knowledge/pulliSelf-driven and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-moving environment./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and elevate team performance./liliAbility to interpret, analyze, and communicate insights from complex documents and financial data./liliAdvanced Excel skills coupled with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities, capable of presenting information clearly and building strong cross-functional relationships./liliHigh-energy contributor with a proactive, can-do mindset and a strong sense of ownership./liliHands-on approach with a willingness to dive into details to ensure accuracy and execution./liliDemonstrated success working independently as well as in a collaborative, team-focused environment./li/ulpOther Requirements/pulliMust maintain professional appearance./liliAbility to work in office on a regular and consistent basis to conform to team requirements; overtime may be required for this position./li/ulpPhysical and Mental Demands/ppThis position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
