The Worship Leader must be diligent in leading people to God during services while consistently pursuing His presence in private. Pursuing great relationships among our dream teamers is expected.This position requires its primary duty be the performance of work requiring invention, imagination, originality or talent in a recognized field of artistic or creative endeavor.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Personal:Maintain the God ordained priorities in your life putting Jesus Christ at the center of everything including your spouse, children, and the ministryPassionate about tithing at least 10% of your income to what God is doing through the vision of Faith ChurchInvest in and lead a Faith Church connect groupBe responsible for developing & multiplying Dream TeamAvoid the appearance of evil, let no hint of immorality exist and conduct life with the utmost of integrity in all situationsMaintain loyalty to the vision and staff of Faith Church and always protect the unity God has given this churchBelieves and operates in the gifts of the SpiritWholeheartedly believes in the empowerment of women in Pastoral leadershipFully devoted follower of ChristPerson of Godly character and integrityLoves Faith Church and lives our vision and cultureIn alignment with What We Believe and Leadership Core ValuesPersonal social media posts in regards to Church activity must be aligned exclusively with Faith ChurchEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Leading Worship at a Campus for Weekend Services (campus rotation)Lead Campus Rehearsal on ThursdayTuesday Night Service worship leading (on a Rotating Schedule)Leading Worship at Staff Meeting (on a Rotating Schedule)Lead 4 (of 6) Connect Group (minimum 2 must be musically focused)Oversee Auditions & Assimilation Process (STL and FL)Liaison between Web Team and Worship Team for audition videosSchedule Live Auditions in STLWeekly Video Audition submission review and responseCollaborate with Musical Directors to ensure their process is flowing parallel to vocalists and growingConstantly improving Assimilation Process and communicationChoir Liaison (works with Choir Leader to find ways to improve and utilize choir)Vocal ResourcesLiaison to Vocal Section LeadersEstablish vocal parts, record them or pull from multitracksSchedule recording sessions to record and Upload all vocals on PCO vocal parts for ALL songs in setsSchedule Stage Plots & Mic Assignments for all STL CampusesAide in scheduling (vocalists and bands as needed)Submit Weekly Pulse ReportsOversee the development of the Dream Team VocalistsDevelop Section LeadersPull in section leaders to record vocals for stems and PCO and to teach the parts at Teach Nights.Schedule quarterly Teach Nights (alternate between SH and FF)These will be the nights that every FC Worship/Band DT meets at one campus to learn the 6 songs for that quarter.Lead Vocalists Development and StewardshipLeader NightsInput all lead vocalists keys for songs they lead.Schedule auditions for current Dream Teamers to audition in front of Worship Pastor to be considered for Leads.Submit Leads for Tuesdays and Weekends to Creative Programming Director (all STL Campuses). Once approved, Schedule Lead vocalist in PCO.PCO Quality Control Lead Vocal Keys. Label each lead in PCO (S-A or T) and ensure that MD has uploaded at least those 3 options.Attend weekly worship meetingsSubmit time on Paycom weekly by SundayAttend weekly staff meetingsPerform other responsibilities as determined by the Creative Programming DirectorCompetenciesExceptional voice talentMust lead from humility and be willing to go the extra mileOutstanding time management skills & responsible understanding of deadlinesWork well under pressure and manage a large number of dream teamers schedulesWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment (routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines) and performances on stage (dimmed & bright lighting, dancing and active movement, stage fog, & stage fire effects).Physical DemandsOffice time is mostly a sedentary role; however, worship & practice is very high energy for multiple hour segments.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkYour weekly schedule will include 40-45 hours per week and will be the same every week. In addition to your regular weekly hours you will be asked to participate in events that will occasionally include evening or weekend hours, as there are continual seasons where it will be necessary to exceed these minimum hours (i.e., Christmas, Easter, Strategic Planning, are just some examples and do not encompass all of the extended hours opportunities).
