• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Hospital Unit
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours total
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $790 - $840
• Orientation: 32 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required within specialty and to other units as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Daily Census: 12-14 patients

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland CNA license required
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CNA, PCT, or pediatric acute care experience required
• Pediatric and acute care experience required
• Experience supporting adolescents and pediatric patients strongly preferred
• Comfort with Meditech charting preferred
• Ability to work holidays as scheduled
• Ability to float within scope and adjust to changing patient needs
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside support to pediatric and adolescent patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, turning, cleaning, transfers, and vital signs
• Support safe patient mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand devices
• Perform basic patient care tasks including feeding assistance, hygiene support, and repositioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
• Assist with tracheostomy care, G-tubes/NG tubes, and other specialized pediatric needs as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
• Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support excellent patient outcomes
