Marketing Strategist

MARKETING STRATEGIST Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401k Location: Gadsen, AL (*Hybrid) BAP Agency is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Marketing Strategist to become the trusted right hand to the CEO and a key contributor to the company's day-to-day success. This role blends strong written and oral storytelling skills with strategic thinking to plan and execute marketing campaigns, social media strategy, and trade show/exhibit initiatives that build real connections with client audiences. Working closely with the President, the Marketing Strategist translates each client's brand story into action across the full range of the Agency's services, including branding, advertising, digital and social media, website design and development, trade shows, events, and advertising specialties. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, prioritize, and execute production-driven work for client accounts Develop and write marketing and social media campaigns aligned with client brands Write and edit compelling, on-brand copy across platforms consistent with BAP Agency's storytelling approach and each client's voice Support trade show, exhibit, and event initiatives Manage production and accounting tasks across the full scope of services Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns, content, and digital initiatives are executed on strategy and on brand Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions Track project timelines and deliverables across multiple client accounts Perform research on industry trends, competitors, and market data Communicate directly and professionally with clients, vendors, and partners Learn all aspects of client account management EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, English, or a related field, preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years\' experience in marketing, advertising, account service, or a related agency role Planning and executing marketing campaigns and social media content Ability to adapt tone and voice by client across platforms Coordinating trade shows, events, or exhibits Proficiency in Google Suite and ClickUp (or other PM tools) required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong organizational and time management skills Professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity Initiative and ability to work independently Eager to learn all aspects of client account management Will"ing to travel on occasion to client events *NOTE: Hybrid schedule will be available upon completion of an initial training period.
