Senior Data Analyst

To support the Community Care Program Integrity initiative within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior Data Analyst will serve as the primary analytics subject matter expert, performing SQL-based querying, data validation, and KPI monitoring while delivering actionable insights in a large-scale federal healthcare environment. Key responsibilities Deliver timely and accurate operational reporting and decision-ready data products to program leadership and evaluation stakeholders Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate structured data from VA enterprise data environments Develop and enhance KPI monitoring frameworks and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to track program performance Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in data analysis, SQL-based querying, and operational reporting within large-scale enterprise analytics environments Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; or 4 years of additional qualifying experience in lieu of a degree Experience supporting VA, VHA, DoD, or similar federal healthcare agency analytics programs with knowledge of healthcare data structures Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access and pass a VA background investigation Proficiency in at least one enterprise reporting or business intelligence platform, such as Power BI or Tableau
