Team Member

Position Overview The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience, responsible for creating day‑making experiences by delivering unparalleled guest service, crafting world‑class beverages, and embodying the Purpose and Values of Caribou in every interaction. Core Responsibilities Provide incredible Guest Service by developing personal relationships, practicing active listening, anticipating guest needs, proactively solving opportunities, making enthusiastic recommendations, and creating day‑making experiences. Hand‑craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures. Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings per standard operating procedures. Float between barista and guest service, fulfilling all team member roles and responsibilities. Take guest orders, manage the cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies and procedures. Maintain store appearance and cleanliness by following sanitization and organization standards. Actively anticipate and respond to future team and guest needs. Differentiate problems that can be solved directly from those requiring leader support. Manage multiple priorities and take direction from leaders. Show resilience under pressure and ask for help when needed. Skills and Qualifications Required: Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends. Must be at least 16years of age. Preferred: Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience. Physical Requirements The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently. These demands must be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
