We are a B2B company specializing in sales and distribution of cutting and fabrication tools supporting manufacturers and suppliers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Ohio team in an Outside Sales role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team, who is highly organized, has a drive to succeed in customer-facing situations, and wants to grow alongside our company.

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales, primarily based in the Ohio area, to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will be the acquisition of new customers, as well as maintaining healthy relations with existing customers, to increase the sales and delivery of our distributed cutting tools. Your responsibilities include conducting regular visits to customer sites, facilitating meetings involving customers and suppliers, performing cost-benefit analyses, and cold-calling leads. You will be required to study and familiarize yourself with the products we handle, track territory sales metrics, handling customer problem resolution, and consistently achieve target sales deliverables. To ensure smooth operations, you will participate in regular meetings and are expected to coordinate with other departments.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Sales experience: Prior experience or strong foundational skills in sales and customer support
• Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and keep track of multiple moving responsibilities.
• Intermediate Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Excel for inventory tracking, data and trend analysis, and consistency for logistics and inside sales coordination.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Japanese-English Bilingual: Some level of Japanese would be required, as order forms from Japanese sources will be in Japanese.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly travel to customer locations.
• Ability to lift 15+ pounds

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.

Compensation

• $60,000 - $65,000 + On-Target Earning Incentive Bonus.
• Incentive Goal TBD, Cap T.B.D., Ratio T.B.D.
• Commission portion will be paid on the first paycheck in January of the following year.
• Base pay portion will be paid biweekly.
• Full-time salaried, exempt position.

Location

Your primary location will be at the Ohio office in Plain City, but your sales responsibility will have you traveling to customer site across the Columbus area.

Company car is provided for sales activities. Commuting will require use of personal vehicles.
