Assistant Director Of Health Services (RN)

The Assistant Director of Health Services (RN) partners with the Director of Health Services to oversee the clinical department of our Assisted Living/Memory Care facility. This position will have a knowledge base of a geriatric population with complex medical needs and be able to provide support to the Health Services staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with facility Director of Health Services to ensure resident care needs are met
• Knowledge of and ability to follow policies, procedures, and state regulations
• Provide hands-on nursing care during the course of the day when needed
• Assess the health conditions and needs of the residents upon move-in and when a change of condition indicates assessment and/or as directed by the Director of Health Services
• The Assistant Director of Health Services (RN) will train, supervise, lead, and motivate their team
• Communicate with residents, staff, family members, etc. as needed
• Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required
• Provides on-call guidance as needed by Health Services staff
• Other Duties as Assigned
