HVAC Commercial Service Technician

HVAC TechnicianDiagnose, maintain and repair heating and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Perform repairs of mechanical and electrical components of these systems.Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectationsTravel to job sites within service area; work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicatedMaintain good working order of company vehicle, report any mechanical issuesMaintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in company vehicleDiagnose diverse service issues, obtain necessary replacement parts; explain fully to customer what the issue is and what corrective action has been takenParticipate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologiesIdentify and report potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts and additional services other duties as assignedMaintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accuratelyAdhere to all company safety rules and regulationsAccuracy of paperwork, labor hours and materials charged to customersLimit number of warranty callbacks on workmanship, or incorrect diagnosis.Maximize number of sales leads, maintenance contracts and product soldRegular use of personal protective equipmentCome to work ready to work with proper tools and attireWillingness to invest time in training seminars and classesCleanliness and organization of company vehicle and worksite (customer's homes)Effective communication with dispatchersRequirementsValid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insuranceAbility to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customersPossess excellent time-management and communication skillsAbility to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperaturesDemonstrate mechanical aptitudeWillingness to further develop skills through training seminars and classesMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screenPossess or have the ability to acquire EPA certificationAbility to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprintsBasic written and verbal English language communication skillsStrong analytical thinking skills with high attention to detailMinimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent5 + year's experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing diverse HVAC issuesPossess or have the ability to acquire Low Voltage Energy License
