Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,810 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Job Summary This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is located in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The role involves working night shifts for a 12-hour schedule, with every other weekend required. Candidates are expected to bring their valid Massachusetts nursing license on the first day. The position requires prior experience in Epic electronic medical records and travel nursing. The selected professional will work with a patient population including diagnoses such as heart failure, respiratory failure, kidney failure, post-operative care, COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis, and sepsis. Job Details Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts Schedule: 12‑hour nights, every other weekend; possible occasional day shift coverage to be discussed in advance. Minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts nursing license; at least 2 years of experience, including prior Epic electronic medical records experience and travel nursing experience; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ICU, telemedicine, or similar high‑acuity settings. Additional Information: Unit type is Telemedicine Electronic Medical Records (telemsED) holding. Must have been separated from the previous organization for 6 or more months and be in good standing. Emphasis on maintaining a 1:2 patient‑to‑nurse ratio for patients with diagnoses including CHF, respiratory failure, kidney failure, post‑op recovery, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
