Travel RN – Emergency Room (Day Shift)

Contract Details 

• Location: Elizabeth City, NC (Sentara Albemarle Medical Center)
• Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
• Overtime Rate: $100/hr (After 40)

Facility & Unit Overview

• Facility Scale: ~114-bed community hospital serving as a primary medical hub for northeastern North Carolina.
• Pace: Expect a steady community ER volume managing standard medical emergencies, minor traumas, and stabilization/transfer protocols for higher-acuity cases.

Standard ER Requirements & Certifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care ER experience.
• Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) or multi-state Compact RN license.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC (Usually strongly preferred)
