Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop hourly production employees in a manufacturing setting Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes Drive production performance, delivery reliability, and waste reduction efforts Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Coach and mentor employees to improve engagement, accountability, and performance Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment-related challenges Establish work priorities and ensure production objectives are met Work Schedule: This position operates on a rotating schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts: 4:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM. Employees rotate between days and nights approximately every 3 to 4 months. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Leadership, or a related field Technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or skilled trades training Previous experience in heavy manufacturing, metals, industrial production, or related environments Experience working within a unionized workforce Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence programs What Success Looks Like: Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience improving productivity, quality, and efficiency Strong communication and employee development capabilities Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
