Our small animal practice is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative team. We're searching for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes initiative, and is always ready to jump in wherever they're needed. Veterinary experience is preferred, but we're equally interested in candidates who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Safely and compassionately restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatments
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and medical procedures
• Obtain patient histories and vital signs
• Walk, feed, and care for hospitalized patients
• Prepare and clean examination rooms between appointments
• Perform routine laboratory support and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Assist receptionists with patient check-in, check-out, and client communication
• Perform cleaning, laundry, stocking, and general hospital maintenance
• Support teammates throughout the hospital to keep the day running smoothly
