Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for the organization in Hayward, California. This role oversees close activities, maintains the integrity of the general ledger, and supports audit readiness through strong controls and detailed analysis. The ideal candidate brings sound technical accounting knowledge, a hands-on approach to reconciliations and journal entries, and the ability to guide a high-performing accounting function.Responsibilities:Provide general ledger support and guidance to accounting staffReconcile operating bank accounts and investigate discrepanciesSupport project-related regulatory and contract compliance requirementsManage customer billing, collections, and cash application activitiesProcess, reconcile, and monitor corporate credit card transactionsAdminister certified payroll submissions and labor compliance documentationPrepare and maintain union reports and related recordsCoordinate and submit OCIP reporting requirementsServe as backup support for payroll processing functionsHandle annual 1099 preparation and filing activitiesDeliver training and system assistance for Vista/Viewpoint users
