Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The position requires a commitment to excellence in patient assessments, triage, and collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.Shift DetailsShift Type: NightsShift Length: 12 HoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Requirement: YesUnit InformationUnit Type: Emergency Room (ER)Number of Beds/Trauma Bays: 21Average Daily Patients: 109Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4:1Common Patient Diagnoses: Primarily trauma, Code Neuro, and transfers for STEMIsResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments and triage for patients entering the emergency department.Provide direct care to patients, including administering treatments and managing critical drips.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patients' conditions, document care provided, and report changes to appropriate personnel.Educate patients and families on treatment options and care plans.Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in an emergency department setting.Required Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS preferred.Skills: Proficiency in managing emergency conditions, administering critical drips, and performing ECGs.
