Position: Associate / Sr. Associate, Finance Reports to: Director, Finance About Wafra: Wafra Inc. Department/Position Summary: Wafra pursues excellence across all areas of its operations, and the Finance function plays a central role in supporting the firm’s financial and strategic objectives. Finance is responsible for firmwide financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), capital structure and liquidity management, financing initiatives, and analytical support of strategic opportunities. The Associate / Senior Associate will primarily support the Director, Finance with FP&A and corporate finance execution, including financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support. The Associate / Senior Associate will have exposure to senior leadership, particularly the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), and in time, other senior leaders across the firm. Responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing corporate financial models, preparing management and board‑level materials, supporting banking relationships, and contributing to strategic initiatives such as potential acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and improve the corporate financial model used for budgeting, forecasting, and multi‑year strategic planning, including analysis of leverage and dividend policies Develop financial materials and presentations for management and board meetings Assist with scenario, sensitivity, and long‑term impact analyses related to new products, strategies, or business initiatives Support balance sheet projections, cash flow forecasting, and firmwide liquidity analysis Monitor and analyze key performance indicators tied to near‑ and long‑term financial objectives, and related market and peer analysis Assist with financial analysis and diligence for any corporate acquisitions and divestitures Strategic & Corporate Finance: Support the Director, Finance in managing and coordinating external providers, lenders, and investment banks in connection with financing transactions Collaborate cross‑functionally with accounting, alternative investments, real estate, operations, tax, and legal teams to support firm initiatives Support any new corporate financing transactions and monitor existing facilities and covenants Expand the use of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and related tools to enhance the Finance function’s impact on the broader organization Support the analysis, structuring, negotiation, and implementation of fund financing arrangements, such as subscription lines, net asset value (“NAV”) facilities, and related foreign currency hedging agreements Support amendment, refinancing, or termination of fund debt facilities Assist in managing banking relationships related to firmwide fund finance initiatives Requirements: Associate will have roughly 3 – 5 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, financial consulting, or a comparable finance role Senior Associate will have at least 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in similar roles, in addition to relevant experience with FP&A, corporate finance, and/or asset management specific projects or positions Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are a must, particularly the ability to build fully integrated three‑statement models. Experience with fund‑level cash flows or waterfall models is also highly relevant Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles (GAAP) High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across all teams Curiosity and desire to work with AI and related tools to continually improve the Finance function Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record with an emphasis in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field Base Salary Range is: $125,000 - $170,000 with the possibility for a discretionary bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wafra
