This hospital is the only exclusively avian and exotic practice in New York City. With a spacious and modern facility tailored to meet the unique needs of exotic animals, the hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and specialized surgical instruments. The practice is dynamic, always evolving with the latest advancements to provide the best care possible for exotic patients.

The focus is entirely on avian and exotic animals, including small mammals, reptiles, and birds. The practice offers comprehensive care across a range of specialties, ensuring patients receive the highest level of treatment available.

Type of Individual Sought
We seek a compassionate and highly skilled Avian & Exotics Veterinary Specialist who excels in providing expert medical and surgical care to exotic animals. The ideal candidate will have experience in small mammal, reptile, and avian soft tissue, orthopedic surgeries, and spay/neutering. A strong interest in board certification with ABVP or ACZM is encouraged, and previous clinical experience is key.
Qualifications Required
Board certified, board eligible, or highly experienced in avian and exotic medicine
Strong interest in pursuing board certification with ABVP or ACZM (if not already certified)
Exceptional surgical skills in small mammal, reptilian, and avian soft tissue, orthopedic surgeries, and spay/neutering
Ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic, and vibrant practice
