The posted compensation range of $19.01 - $19.01/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Departmental Support Specialist, you will help our department staff and patients manage daily operations and communications so they can receive effective departmental operations and quality patient care.
Every day you will perform a variety of clerical, reception, and support functions. You will be expected to greet and assist patients, answer telephones, manage records, scan/file charts, monitor patient flow, enter billing info, and direct/transport patients.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional customer service, attention to detail, knowledge of HIPAA rules and medical terminology, and adherence to departmental policies and protocols.
Required: 1-3 years of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
