• Certification: Respiratory Therapist issued by the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care, Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Additional certifications include ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), all prior to start date.
• Education Requirements: Must hold a valid Respiratory Therapist credential as specified.
• Location Requirements: Positions available in the NICU setting within the healthcare facility.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 0 years minimum experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include documenting patient assessments, providing respiratory therapy, assisting physicians, performing pain assessments, equipment maintenance, transporting infants, and regarding patient safety according to established guidelines.
• Additional requirements may include processing patient charges, running reports, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
