Contract (16-26 weeks) | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts | Every other weekend required | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Place and troubleshoot peripheral IVs (PIVs) at the bedside, including removal and dressing changes
• Assess PICC lines, complete dressing changes, and administer TPA as needed
• Access and flush ports; draw blood cultures as backup support
• Float to various areas to place PIVs, troubleshoot PIV and PICC lines, and manage ports and dressing changes
• Utilize IV ultrasound guidance for vascular access procedures
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed, including potential mid-week rotations

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or vascular access specialty
• IV ultrasound guidance experience required ; strong overall IV skills required
• AVA Certification and PICC skills required
• Large Trauma Level 1 facility experience within the past year required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required - non-negotiable
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible in this area - all-season or snow tires recommended November through April
• All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for submission

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Background as an ER RN or Infusion RN is highly desirable
• PICC line placement certification (please note if certified - placement is not required but valued)

• Opportunity to work within a specialized vascular access team at a high-acuity facility, expanding clinical expertise in a dynamic environment
• Bi-weekly Monday orientations and a team that aims to provide approximately 48 hours between shift rotations when possible
