Glassworker (Associate I)

Responsibilities include:

• Assembling parts to form complete units or subassemblies at the workbench.
• Using hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment.
• Daily collaboration with team members on work.
• Reassembling or reworking units as required.
• Performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision.
• Setting up and operating various grinding machines to deburr, buff, or polish materials.
• Utilizing gauges and fixtures to check that specifications are met.
• Setting up, operating, or tending to machines used to crush, grind, or polish glass material.

The ideal candidate would possess a High School Diploma or GED with solid basic math skills.  Experience working in glass manufacturing is a plus.
