Cardiothoracic Radiologist - Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (Tucson, AZ)

As a Cardiothoracic Radiologist within the Radiology Service, your duties will include:
Interpreting chest radiographs, CT scans, MRIs, and fluoroscopic examinations with a focus on cardiothoracic conditions.
Providing prompt and precise reports while communicating critical findings directly to referring providers.
Engaging in multidisciplinary tumor boards, peer reviews, and quality management initiatives.
Contributing to the education of residents and technologists, reviewing pre-procedure labs, and developing study protocols.
Maintaining thorough and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with VA regulations.
U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be considered only if qualified citizens cannot be recruited as per VA policy).
MD or DO degree from a VA-approved institution.
A current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program (approved by the VA Secretary).
Board Certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
Extensive experience in cardiothoracic imaging or completion of a recent Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship.
Capability to interpret multi-specialty examinations, radiographs, and perform fluoroscopic procedures.
Experience in teaching residents or fellows.
