About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Clinical Development in Cardiology. This pivotal role involves leading the clinical strategy and execution for one of the company's most significant development programs. The successful candidate will be a core member of the Global Program Team, with end-to-end accountability for clinical strategy, protocol development, and regulatory interactions. Responsibilities include leading the Clinical Strategy Sub-Team, owning clinical development plans, and making critical decisions based on emerging data and regulatory expectations. The role also requires the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, as well as the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Medical Degree, with board certification strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of relevant cardiovascular clinical drug development experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a clinical lead for a major cardiovascular program, particularly through key late-stage development milestones. A strong understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, and the ability to build trusted relationships with leading investigators and Key Opinion Leaders in the field are essential. The role demands a leader who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, can help design future-state organizations, and is adept at presenting clinical strategy and progress to executive leadership.
