Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient specializing in inpatient rehabilitation services is sought for a facility located in the area. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis within acute inpatient and rehabilitation settings. The position requires competency in Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS) and involves working in ICU, acute tower, and rehab units, with the possibility of floating to other nearby facilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date is 10/12/2026 and end date is 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings, competency in Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation units preferred; first-time travelers are acceptable.
• Float: Float to Jerome Medical Center may be required, approximately 30 minutes away.
• Additional Information:
  • Clinical responsibilities include treating 8 to 10 patients per day in inpatient and rehab units.
  • The facility has a radius rule of 50 miles; candidates must confirm their permanent address is outside this radius prior to submission.
  • Typical onboarding includes 2-3 days of department-specific orientation.
  • The 4x10 schedule may include coverage on weekends and as needed for holidays.
  • Scrubs are permitted; must not match the colors of other departments.
  • No trauma level designation specified.
  • The charting system used is EPIC.
  • A license to submit is required.
