Home Health Aide (HHA) - Islandia, NY

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission. Join our team of compassionate professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
- Assist with managing medications and medical equipment
- Monitor and report changes in a client's condition to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely and comfortably
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
