This is an Armed Security Officer FLEX position.

39 hours per week

Tuesday 0715-1700 Norwich

Wednesday 0715-1700 New Britain

Thursdays 0845-1830 Enfield

Fridays 0715-1700 Willimantic

(Saturday, Sunday, Monday Off)

Current Wage: $26.35- $27.17 hour

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum five years law enforcement, corrections or active military armed experience

Must currently own a full-size Glock or Smith & Wesson in either 9mm or.40 caliber OR Sig Sauer, Beretta, CZ-USA, etc. Must be full size (minimum 4.25" barrel length) and CT compliant magazine where it doesn't hold more than 10 rounds.

• $0.11/hr (2025), $0.02/hr (2026), $0.09/hr (2027).
• Provides access to legal services as determined by Fund Trustees.
• $0.09/hr (2025), rising to $0.10/hr (2026–2027).
• Supports training, scholarships, and safety programs.
• Employer contributions to Supplemental Retirement and Savings Plan (SRSP).
• Details set by Fund Trustees to provide retirement savings.
• Personal Days Off (PDOs).
• Paid holidays.
