Assistant Store Manager

IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee the retail store operations to ensure sales goals and operational objectives are met. Responsibilities Act as Manager on Duty – Oversee daily operation, ensure sales objectives, evaluate operations, hold staff accountable, coach, brand representation, customer engagement, safety, partnership with Store Manager. Recruit Great Talent – Proactively network/recruit, assist Store Manager selection, training, policies adherence. Achieve Sales Goals – Customer requests, selling skills, collaborative selling culture. Support Store Operations – Cash handling, inventory, merchandising, capture customer information, special events, loss prevention policies, maintenance. Embody Core Values – Positive, Playful, Present, Difference Maker, enthusiasm, team collaboration. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. 2–3 years retail experience preferred; prior sales and management experience preferred. Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficient with POS/cash register. Physical ability: stand/walk long periods, handle items, lift up to 25 lbs independently, up to 50 lbs with assistance. Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
