RN - CVICU

This position requires a 3x12-hour night shift from 19:00 to 07:00. Job Description We are seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse with ECMO experience who will float to the cardiac stepdown unit as needed. The average daily census is 7 patients, with a patient ratio of 1:2. The position necessitates expertise in various critical care procedures and protocols. Responsibilities Interpret dysrhythmias and manage patients with multisystem organ failure. Provide care for patients on ECMO and intra-aortic balloon pumps. Monitor pulmonary artery lines and manage arterial lines, central lines, and PICC lines. Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in CVICU required. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Charge experience preferred. Previous travel experience is required. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
