Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Antepartum for a Level IV Maternal Designation facility, requiring TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of high-volume Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience.

Details

• Work in the OB High Risk Unit of a Level IV Maternal Designation facility
• Unit includes 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum beds
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
• Facility provides 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
• Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices
• Facility includes a Perinatal Transport Program
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required
• 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide high-risk antepartum and perinatal nursing care in a high-volume, fast-paced delivery service
• Facility is expanding in mid-2026 to a new Women's Tower
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate; distance varies by facility location
