Apple Rehab Rocky Hill is a 100‑bed skilled nursing center located off Silas Dean Highway in Rocky Hill, CT. Position Temporary Registered Dietitian Rate $38+ Type Full‑Time Temporary position with the potential for permanent employment upon successful completion of the assignment. Job Description Registered Dietitian provides comprehensive nutritional care for residents in the facility. Ensures compliance with Food Service regulations and standards of practice, offering counsel and/or directives to Dietary Managers, Nursing, or Administrators as deemed necessary. Participates in weekly “At Risk” meetings, monitors resident weights and nutrition intake, and makes recommendations regarding resident diets and supplementary needs. Qualifications Required Registered Dietitian with clinical and production experience in long‑term care setting. Certified by the State of Connecticut as a CD‑N. Current knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines as they apply to long‑term care. Effective communication skills; oral and written. Self‑motivated and flexible. Team player approach with cooperation. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, positive attitude. Valid driver’s license with vehicle.
