divh2Registered Nurses (NICU) Full-Time Nights/h2pNemours is seeking Registered Nurses (NICU) full-time nights 7p-7a, to join our Nemours Childrens Hospital team in Orlando, Florida./ppLocated in the heart of Lake Nona Medical City, Nemours Childrens Hospital, Florida is home to an 18-bed Level IV NICU, featuring private, single-family rooms and advanced therapies, including:/pulliWhole-body hypothermia/liliHigh-frequency ventilation/liliInhaled nitric oxide/liliExtracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)/li/ulpOur neonatologists collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatric surgery, cardiology, and critical care to manage complex and rare conditions in neonates. The NICU also plays a central role in our Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Fetal Care Programs, ensuring seamless prenatal to postnatal care for high-risk pregnancies. We serve as a regional referral center and maintain active partnerships with leading hospitals across Central Florida including Lakeland Regional Health, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, UCF Lake Nona Hospital, Tradition Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic Martin Health providing neonatology support from Level I to Level III NICUs throughout the region./ppTuition Reimbursement - up to $5,250 annually Relocation Assistance $3,000 Employee Referral Bonus/ppBenefits:/pulliPaid Time Off: Six paid holidays annually and one day of paid volunteer time off./liliPaid Parental Leave: Six weeks of paid leave for new parents at 100% pay./liliTuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,250 for approved courses./liliRetirement Savings Plan: 403(b) plan with immediate participation and matching contributions; 457(b) program for highly compensated associates./liliInsurance: Basic Life and ADD Insurance equal to one time annual salary, up to $500,000./liliDisability Coverage: Short- and long-term disability coverage at 60% of salary for non-work-related disabilities./li/ulpPractice Of Professional Nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences which shall include, but not be limited to:/pulliThe observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others./liliThe administration of medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments./liliThe supervision and teaching of other personnel in the theory and performance of any of the acts./li/ulpThe Registered Nurse implements the patient care delivery model for the patient and their family./ph3Clinical Judgment/h3ulliUtilize policies, procedures, guidelines, and reliable methods to make clinical practice decisions./liliIndependently develop, implement, evaluate, and modify clinical practice matching formal knowledge with critical thinking and nursing skills./liliCollect and interpret complex patient data with clinical events to make clinical decisions to meet individual patient and family needs./liliRecognize and respond to the dynamic situation while sorting out extraneous detail and exercises clinical judgment based on an immediate grasp of the whole picture for the patient population of the assigned clinical area./liliEngage in multidisciplinary collaboration, proactively seek expert consultation, and delegate to other clinicians, as appropriate, while using evidence-based guidelines./li/ulh3Clinical Inquiry/h3ulliDemonstrate knowledge seeking behaviors and identify clinical questions.
