Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for a diverse cardiac patient population and be proficient in relevant technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients' conditions in a telemetry setting.
Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, or Surgical as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must hold an active RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry or cardiac care.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo monitoring equipment.
Cerner EHR experience is preferred.
