Job Overview
We are seeking an A-level, skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic or a willing to learn trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating proficiency in automotive diagnostics and customer service. This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems, including powertrain components and alignment procedures. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Must provide own tools and salary is commensurate with experience. Production bonus plan after probationary period.
Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Conduct comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Execute automotive repairs on various systems such as engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Align vehicles to manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and options clearly to clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Experience
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive service is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with powertrain systems, automotive repair techniques is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the automotive field is highly valued.
