Facility: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Lakeland, FL Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: Up to $58/hour Make a Meaningful Impact Every Day Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help residents regain vital communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while enhancing their overall quality of life in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Position Summary As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving resident independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities Evaluate & Treat: Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia. Implement Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each resident’s needs and goals. Communication Support: Recommend, implement, and train residents on adaptive communication devices and strategies. Collaborate: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care. Track Progress: Maintain accurate documentation, monitor outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed. Educate & Lead: Provide guidance to staff and supervise support personnel as appropriate. Equipment Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment. Family Engagement: Communicate effectively with residents and families, offering education and support throughout the care process.
