Job Summary Rayus now offers DailyPay! Work today, get paid today! Rayus Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As an MRI technologist, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images, provide patient-centered services, and maintain professional standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Screen patients before exam for precautions or contraindications, using two identifiers to confirm patient and procedure. Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, including positioning and safety. Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout the examination. Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed. Follow physician orders, comply with safety regulations, and maintain accurate records in RIS. Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and equipment, promoting safety for patients and staff. Keep equipment in working order; clean and disinfect after each use. Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades. Monitor inventory of medical supplies and request replenishment as required. Assist in training new team members, providing technical expertise. Complete other assigned tasks as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing (depending on state regulations). Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable. Current CPR certification. Competent in independently performing MRI procedures. Certification in imaging specialty.
