divh2Registered Nurse (RN) ICU (Critical Care) Anderson Hospital/h2pThe ICU (Critical Care) Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:/pulliUtilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status/liliDetermining the priority of the patients problems and needs/liliImplementing clinical nursing interventions to acute, critical patients that require intensive medical care/liliDeveloping and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes/liliEnsuring a safe and therapeutic environment/li/ulpEssential Functions:/pulliCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team/liliConducts and analyzes initial and ongoing patient assessment, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates treatment effectiveness/liliSynthesizes and prioritizes information in order to take immediate and decisive evidence-based, patient-focused action using clinical judgement and clinical inquiry./liliAnticipates and responds with confidence and adapts to rapidly changing patient conditions/liliAdminister medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organizations policies and procedures/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpEducation:/pulliBachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)/li/ulpCertifications:/pulliCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliBLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care, ACLS required within 6 months of hire); PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire, required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)/li/ulpExperience:/pulli1 year of RN experience (required)/lili6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)/li/ulpMercy Health is an equal opportunity employer./ppAs a Mercy Health associate, youre part of a Mission that matters.
