Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse, ensuring safe and therapeutically effective nursing care
• Complete the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends throughout the perioperative experience
• Utilize nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Maintain the work area and uphold hospital, Nursing Department, and regulatory standards
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State or Multistate RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required at time of hire
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active PALS certification required
• Ability to practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulatory standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Operating Room nursing
• Previous experience in Recovery Room (PACU) nursing
