Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Arvada, CO Onsite Job Description
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design, Autodesk Revit , 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T, and engineering drawing interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Revit .
- Perform design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and fit/function verification.
- Apply GD&T and DFMA principles.
- Support material selection, BOMs, engineering documentation, and change management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, schedule, and client requirements.
- 7 10 years of mechanical design experience.
- 4+ years Autodesk Revit experience.
- Strong 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T, and tolerance analysis skills.
- Knowledge of DFMA, material selection, BOMs, and PLM/PDM .
- Understanding of ASME, ISO, and ANSI standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Medical device experience preferred.
