CNC Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift

Shift: Various Shifts Location: WSM Come join our growing manufacturing company as CNC Lathe Set‑up/Operator – 2nd shift. Job Description

1. st shift: Monday through Friday 7am‑3pm
2. nd shift: Monday through Thursday 3pm‑1am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC machining equipment. Setup and operate CNC machining equipment. Perform machine alignment procedures and machine zero/homing procedures to keep equipment at peak operating performance. Able to troubleshoot machine problems. Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance. Qualification Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED required. Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement. Excellent attendance and a positive “can do” attitude. Experience (Plus) Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. One or more years of CNC machine operating experience. CNC programming experience.
