Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Bronx, New York. This role involves working in a reputable facility providing specialized care in an intensive care setting. Candidates are required to bring their New York licensure on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: NY Licensure, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Cardio Thoracic intensive care, VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience with HeartMate 3, transplant medications management, and experience with liver and kidney transplants.
• Float: Float to ICU may be required if applicable.
• Additional Information: Pass/Fail testing administered at 7 a.m. on the first day of orientation. Knowledge of EPIC electronic charting system required, along with extensive experience in managing arrhythmias, heart failure, and transplant care.
