Utility Person

Job Summary To assist production operations in every area as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities At the beginning of each shift, determine what job functions are needed for the day. Wrap all materials to customer specifications. Affix a label to package with correct information. Mark off all the orders wrapped. Must perform other duties such as gluing, assisting with convoluter, etc. Practice good safety techniques. Maintain good housekeeping practices in shipping area. Perform other duties as requested. Education High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Tape measure, iron, markers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time. Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment. Quantity – Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity. Safety – Observes all safety procedures and policies; reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; uses equipment and materials properly. Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
