Forklift operator

We are currently seeking safety-first, experienced Certified Forklift Operators to join our client's dynamic team in the greater Memphis area.

The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Because this role operates within regulated environments, prior experience and knowledge of FDA and GMP guidelines in a medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing setting is highly preferred.

salary: $35,360 - $41,600 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment, including Sit-Down, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Dock Stocker, and Electric Pallet Jack.
• Previous FDA and OSHA training
• Material Handling: Load and unload trailers, transport pallets, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
• Inventory Accuracy: Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory, process inbound shipments, and prepare outbound orders.
• Safety Compliance: Perform daily equipment inspections and adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
• General Warehouse Duties: Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse upkeep as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
