Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machines through regular maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing machinery.
• Execute preventive maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns.
• Handle electrical tasks including VFD programming and managing breakdowns, preferably at 480v.
• Work with mechanical components such as solenoids, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, and fluid control systems.
• Apply knowledge of processes to ensure efficient machine operation.
• Differentiate and apply components correctly across various conditions.

Essential Skills

• Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with VFD programming and handling electrical breakdowns.
• Mechanical expertise in solenoids, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid control.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Positive attitude, learning mindset, and adaptability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of skills as they will be tested.

Work Environment

Work in a food manufacturing setting with GMP standards. Choose between 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am) or 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am) with mandatory weekends must be okay working 55-65 hrs/week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
